Jobber vs ServiceM8 Pricing UK
The two charge in completely different ways, which is why the cheaper option depends on your setup.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| ServiceM8 Free | £0 | 1 user, 30 jobs a month |
| ServiceM8 Starter | £25/month + VAT | Unlimited users, 50 jobs a month |
| ServiceM8 Growing | £59/month + VAT | Unlimited users, 150 jobs a month |
| ServiceM8 Premium | £119/month + VAT | Unlimited users, 500 jobs a month |
| ServiceM8 Premium Plus | £269/month + VAT | Unlimited users, 1,500+ jobs a month |
| Jobber Core | $29/month (annual) or $49 month to month | 1 user, quotes, invoices, online payments |
| Jobber Connect | $99/month (annual) or $139 month to month | Adds automated reminders and quote/invoice follow-ups |
| Jobber Grow | $149/month (annual) or $199 month to month | Adds two-way SMS, job costing, optional line items |
| Jobber extra users | $29/month each | On top of any plan |
What that means in practice: a sole trader doing up to 30 jobs a month can run ServiceM8 for free, while Jobber starts at $29 a month. Add staff and the gap widens, because ServiceM8’s paid plans include unlimited users while Jobber charges $29 a month for each extra user. Where Jobber can come out ahead is a sole trader with high job volume, since its price does not rise with the number of jobs. Jobber also bills in US dollars, so your monthly cost moves with the exchange rate. Prices are from each company’s pricing page in October 2026.
What We Found When We Tested Jobber
Hands-on findings
- The quote to job to invoice flow is excellent. Every line item, price and description carried through with no re-typing at any step. It is the smoothest version of this we have tested.
- Live job profit tracking. Revenue, costs and profit show on the job page as you go.
- The app shows pounds, but billing is in dollars. With a UK account the app displays £ and UK addresses correctly, but Jobber’s own billing page says “Prices in $USD”. For a 2 to 5 person team it showed the Grow plan at $299 a month, discounted to $200 a month for the first 12 months.
- Some templates are American. Our electrical test account was given US quote templates such as “100 Amp Service”, even with a UK address set.
We used Jobber’s free trial with a test UK electrical contractor account. We have not tested ServiceM8 hands-on, so its details here come from ServiceM8’s own pricing and feature pages.

ServiceM8 vs Jobber: Which One Should You Choose?
Quoting, scheduling, invoicing, automated follow-ups and a client hub, all in one app that works on iPhone and Android. No card needed for the trial.
The Bottom Line
The phone question settles this for many tradespeople before anything else does. If you run the business from an Android phone, ServiceM8 is a poor fit, since Android only gets the cut-down Lite app outside a beta, and Jobber is the clear choice.
If everyone is on iPhone, it is much closer than most comparisons make out. ServiceM8 now matches Jobber on two-way texting, online payments and AI tools, and its pound pricing with unlimited users makes it the better value for most small teams. Jobber earns its higher price with the smoothest quoting flow we have tested and flat pricing that suits high job volumes. Both have a 14-day trial, so run a real job through each before you commit.
